Third Quarter Narrative Report

(July-September)

Going to school is the best public policy tool available to raise skills. While school time can

be fun and can raise social skills and social awareness, from an economic point of view the primary

point of being in school is that it increases a child’s ability. Even a relatively short time in school does

this; even a relatively short period of missed school will have consequences for skill growth. But can

we estimate how much the COVID-19 interruption will affect learning? Not very precisely, as we are

in a new world; but we can use other studies to get an order of change. The COVID-19 pandemic has

introduced uncertainty into major aspects of national and global society, including for schools. For

example, there is uncertainty about how school closures last spring impacted student achievement,

as well as how the rapid conversion of most instruction to an online platform this academic year will

continue to affect achievement.

The month of July was an exciting month to us because Alternative Learning System had been

newly assigned Division ALS Supervisor Dr. Joanna Ruby Lago Presente. She is the daughter of our

very own Assistant Schools Division Superintendent. Hopefully we can meet her in person. The

following days was our monthly meeting were it discussed about our learners portfolio to be

accomplished and other related matter.

For the month of August, was a busy day because of the editing and printing of diplomas. Also

gathering important information to our learners to be filled up. On the contrary, in this month was

the gathering of data for LAS reproduction to be submitted. Mapping or an online mapping had done

in this month. Were we are going to look for our perspective learners through online using our social
media like Facebook or Instagram. Sad to say that this pandemic can make us isolated were what we

can do outside is restricted and limited.

In the month of September, was the District Validation of Learners Presentation Portfolio

were the completers was interviewed by Maam Cheryl D. Ubalde through virtual set-ups. In this

month also was the opening of School Year 2021-2022 were everyone was busy of the ‘’Brigada

Pagbasa’’. Final evaluation of presentation portfolio had been done scheduled through the said

barangays and it was such a heartwarming seeing our learners striving hard to accomplish their goals.

As a teacher it is really fulfilling to see our learners achieved there once journey. Helping and

supporting them is a treasure filled with memories of sadness and gladness. It’s a World Teachers Day

after all a noble job that can be proud on.
