    The legislative body of the Republica Mokdova is called the Parliament. It consists of 101 elected deputies who serve four-year terms. The building itself was planned to be closer to the road, but was moved due to possible traffic noise. Currently, the president of Parliament is Igor Grosu. The Parliament is made up of members from several political parties, including the Party of Action and Solidarity, the Electoral Bloc of Communists and Socialists, and the Sor Party.
