When the last animal of a certain type dies, that species becomes
extinct and will never be seen again. You might have heard of the
dodo or the Tasmanian tiger. They became extinct years ago. Now
you can only see a dodo by going to a museum. That’s no good, is it?
Did you know that in a single year (2019), more than a dozen
animals, including three bird species, a small mammal, and a species
of snail, became extinct? They will never be seen again. If you needed
a reason to FIGHT, this is it!
