CHOLESTEROL: The Making

Project Objective

 To make a ball-stick structure of Cholesterol

 Serve as documentation of the project

Project Description

1. Fishes is a high source of cholesterol. The group decided to make a compressed structural form or
the 3D model of cholesterol. The said cholesterol structure is attached to the body of the fish that
signifies its relationship as one of its biochemical property. The base design is underwater-like
environment paired with the fish.

Cholesterol Making Step-by-step Process

Procedure for the Chain

1. Prepare all the materials needed

2. Cut the small styro balls in two.

3. Paint the small styro balls with color yellow acrylic paint. Get the
medium styro balls and paint it with green color. Let it dry for a minute.

After drying, attach the bbq sticks/ toothpicks and styro balls. Follow the
model of cholesterol in the picture.

Assure first that the balls are properly glued and attached. Then set aside.

Procedure for Fish Stand

Use wood for the stand.

Finishing Touches

1. Connect the chain in the side part of the fish.

2. Make sure it is attached and pasted properly.
3. Attach the fish in the stand.
4. Glue everything for assurance.
