Remove/install
1 Remove belt pulley/vibration damper (8) AR03.30-P-1600MT
2 Press out radial shaft sealing ring (5) from AR03.20-P-3000-01MT
the mounting hole using a suitable tool
Do not damage crankshaft (1) and
mounting hole; use a clean rag as a base to
push out.
Leakage can occur otherwise.
Installation: Pound in the radial shaft
sealing ring (5) flush into the timing case
cover using a suitable tool.
Repair solution for galling on the belt pulley/
vibration damper (8):
Hammer in radial shaft sealing ring (5)
evenly to make the installation depth (B)
0.7 mm deeper.
Check
3 Check contact surface of radial shaft sealing Replace belt pulley/vibration damper (8) if
ring (5) at hub of belt pulley/vibration damper there are score marks and galling.

4 Install in the reverse order
5 Check oil level of the engine and correct if
necessary
