Description:
MADAME (Master Data Management Evolution) is a migration project which is
to migrate customer data from Mainframe legacy to Open platform which will
migrate over 6 million customer data and over 9 million Accounts data to open
platform. The main purpose of this application is to say goodbye to the large
number of transaction codes in mainframe and shifting to the different
mainframe VDI screens.

This is a purely an Angular JS web application which is used for enquiry

and CRUD of customer data like Profile, Phone, Email, PDPA, FATCA, etc. The
entire data is stored in MariaDB consisting of Different API’s accessing the DB
to Manage the Data.

The entire project consists of four phases. In Phase 1 and Phase 2, the
Mainframe will be the Master and the MADAME will be the slave. In this
phase, whatever the transactions done in Mainframe will be Synced to
MADAME through IBM MQ and MADAME API reads the event from MQ and
creates or updates or deletes the record in the DB based on Function Code. So,
the Data in the Mainframe and MADAME will be in Sync. In the Third Phase, All
the interface Systems Accessing Mainframe will be shifted to MADAME. In
Fourth phase, MADAME will be the master and Mainframe Will be in Slave.

Responsibilities:
 Performed Functional, System, Smoke and Regression Testing.

Description:

CA Application is considered as the “Heart” of the Development Bank of

Singapore (DBS) which has been in existence since 1978.The CA system is a
pure Mainframe host application, which houses three main products: DBS
Current Account (DBS CA), AutoSave Account (ATS) and POSB Current Account
(POSB CA) Depending on the afore-mentioned product, the CA Account could
be a non-interest, interest earning account with a Cheque book facility. Also,
different Account Types exists which includes personal, corporate, joint-
alternate, joint-all, executor and administrator account depending on the
product. The CA Account may be given an Overdraft Line and interest is
computed based on interest rates at account level. It can earn credit interest
based on parameterized interest rates. The CA accounts may be linked to
Savings Accounts (SA) and funds will be transferred from SA to CA to cover
shortages. Monthly hardcopy statements are generated for all CA accounts.
Daily and Weekly statements are available at customer’s request.

VMware is about to introduce a new service offering to telecommunications

operators. This new support service will be called “Carrier Grade Support”
(CGS). The key differentiator for this service is that VMware will be signing up
to enhanced SLA’s around response and service restoration, as well as
additional account management services. GSS needs to change the way SRs are
handled in VMStar to route SRs from specified telco accounts to dedicated
teams of TSEs, and allow GSS to manage and report all calls and SR’s related to
individual CGS customers.

In addition, GS will require CGS to be sold differently to the existing BCS and
MCS products. We will require these products to be sold on a country basis but
potentially linked to an overarching framework agreement signed with the
global account, e.g. Vodafone Global Procurement Company (VPC) framework
agreement and VF Ireland purchasing CGS under that framework agreement.
