GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2019-2020


I. INTRODUCTION
Gender and Development has been consistently seen as an essential
need of teachers of the 21 st century learners. Through this GAD concepts,
teachers are empowered with the trends in carrying out their day to day living
in conformity with what is right and duly acceptable by the law.

The Department of Education (DepEd) acknowledges the vital role of


conducting Gender and Development (GAD) Training for teachers thus,
setting GAD as one of the priorities of the department through GAD Programs
and Projects (GAD-PAPs).

In lieu with this, DON LORENZO E. ALETA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, as


a recognized public institution under the DepEd-Division of Nueva Ecija,
formulated activities that would strengthen GAD Programs and Projects for its
teachers for the School Year 2019-2020.
