2.  eliquid PG/VG Target: PG/VG ratio should be between approximately 50/50 and 60/40. Where PG = PG + flavouring, VG = VG + Nicotine + Acid.
3.  Nicotine Concentration: Liquid recipes should be available in the nicotine strengths listed on Tab 1.
4.  Nicotine Salt Acid: Benzoic (preferred) or Lactic. But if Benzoic acid is used, it must be at a level of less than 1%w/w in the eliquid formation.
5. eliquids should not contain the substances detailed in the list A.
6.  eLiquids must be TPD compliant.
7.  All solvents (PG, VG, nicotine, acid) should be Pharma Grade or equivalent
8.  All flavourings must have Food Grade certification
9. All eliquids should have a flashpoint no less than 60C
10. Provision of full eliquid and flavour ingredient disclosures (under NDA with a restricted number of individuals within BAT Consumer Product Safety

of addition.
11. Flavour/eLiquids should have ideally been optimised with an intended application in low powered devices like pod systems and disposables.
12. Supplier should be able to modify the amount of nicotine and acid if required
13. Data (nicotine, sensory etc) to support expected shelf life of eLiquids (bulk and/or in finished product) desirable (for nicotine and flavour stability).
14. 500mL of finished eLiquid per proposed flavour would be required by BAT to make an initial assessment.
15. Material Safety Data Sheets (SDS) must also be available for the finished eliquids.
