1. State your understanding of your main duties and responsibilities.


a. Understand the client’s/projects requirements/goals/objectives
b. Do the required research and create the doable projection.
c. Identify the website’s current weaknesses and opportunities and get a concrete plan
created in order to achieve the desired goals.
d. Make sure that team has clear understanding of the project’s objectives/goals.
e. Create a step-by-step process by dividing the main strategy/plan into the sub-tasks and
assign to the team.
f. Monitor the execution and ensure the proper completion of tasks/subtasks within the
time-frame decided.
g. Coordinate with the clients for the things which need to be done from their end.
h. Answer clients’ queries related to the execution part of the project and educate them
where required.
i. Make sure team’s provided with the resources required for uninterrupted execution so
that deadlines are met with quality work.
j. Work with the team and provide all the required support and guidance.
k. Do the required research and development works to improve website’s performance.
l. Review the weekly activities and monthly reports and strategize further actions.
m. Make sure clients get what they expect from website’s SEO.

2. Has the past year been good/ bad/ satisfactory or otherwise for you and why?
The past year has been good for me. I worked on the SEO/ORM strategy, projection and execution
parts of some big brands like- Apollo, Amity, Parsvnath Developers, RGCIRC, Kent etc. I got
opportunity to work on variety of projects including medical, eCommerce, publishers, astrology. I
got notified to some of my weaknesses like client coordination and presentation skills which I
worked on and also achieved the positive results. Besides SEO and ORM, I also worked at some
operation related things for company like data security – Lastpass, and in the guidance of my
manager we successfully installed the same to secure the important data of company. So, it was
full of variety and learning.

3. What do you consider to be your most important achievements of the past year?
a. Improved results for SEO and ORM campaigns of new and old projects.
b. Improvement in client communication skills. Successful presentation of activities and plans
before the client.
c. Being part of SEO strategies of some big brands.

4. What do you like and dislike about working for this organization?
I like the work management system, hierarchy, knowledge sharing and training culture here most.
Besides that industry updates, work advancement, openness and transparency are also
appreciable here.
What I disliked is, some maintenance related things like internet services, pantry etc need to
improve.

5. What elements of your job do you find most difficult?


Getting some particular types of clients agreed on the support required from their end for proper
SEO implementation, and the time required to see the results.

6. What elements of your job interests you the most and least?
The research and strategy development part interests me most. I got least interest in very
frequent progress report if clients demand that as SEO is not process which could be completed in
a week and clients need to be educated on this.

7. What do you consider to be your most important aims and tasks in the next year?
a. I am aiming to work at more projects with my own team in the coming year.
b. Time management skills to keep track of every project equally.

8. What action could be taken to improve your performance in your current position
by you and your boss?
My bosses can provide me opportunity to work as team lead of a separate team by assigning more
projects. I can work on my team handling, leadership and client communication skills.

9. What kind of work or job would you like to be doing in one/ two/ five year’s time?
I would like to work more at the SEO strategy, research and development work. Team leading,
project management will be the kind of jobs I would like to do in coming years.

10. What sort of training/ experiences would benefit you in the next year?
There's no special training required. Only routine trainings arranged by my bosses on SEO can help
in sharpening my SEO skills. As I have already mentioned above, opportunity to work at the next
level as team lead will certainly benefit me.

11. What all-natural strengths and personal passions you would like to develop – out
of which you and your work can benefit from these.
I would like to develop more consistency, focus and persistence. Time management is something
which I need to work more at. All these things are the highest requirement for effective work.
