Arun is co-founder and CTO at Medindia.net – India’s top health website, that is visited by
several million visitors each month. He is also Director of Technology & Innovation at STAR
Associates, NY, USA, an investment advisory services firm, with a focus on health,
pharmaceuticals, AI, Robotics, Space, Blockchain and Cybersecurity products and services.
Arun has a B.Tech from IIT Madras, an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad, and a M.S. in Computer
Science from Pennsylvania State University and certifications in AI, Machine Learning and deep
learning from Stanford and Coursera.
He is frequently invited to present at many Indian and International conferences including at Yale
and Duke University in USA. He was honored with the Humanitarian Volunteer of the Year award
at a healthcare convention held at Stanford University in 2007. In 2014, he was honored with a
Gold Medal for his outstanding service in Ophthalmology by the Tamil Nadu Governor, Shri K.
Rosiah.
Dr. Sunil Shroff, MBBS, MS, FRCS (London) and D.Urol (London)
Dr. Sunil Shroff is a Senior Consultant Urologist & Kidney Transplant Surgeon at Madras Medical
Mission Hospital, Chennai. He is the founder trustee of MOHAN Foundation – a renowned NGO
in the field of organ donation and widely regarded as a pioneer in adoption and growth of
deceased organ donation & transplantation programs in India. He is frequently invited as an
expert and guest speaker at conferences globally and is regularly featured in news and media
coverage for his views on the subject. He is also co-founder & Editorial Director
of Medindia.net – India’s leading health website. He has a keen interest in using technology to
improve patientcare and has conducted five national & International healthcare IT conferences.
He has over 60 publications in peer reviewed journals and published another 700 plus articles in
media. He is author of 4 books. 10 book chapters and has done 700 plus presentations.
Sameer Mehta
Mr. Sameer Mehta is the Vice Chairman of Dr Mehta’s Hospitals (India’s Oldest Private Hospital)
and Director of the Atlas Family Office. Passionate around innovation and investing, Sam is the
co-founder of India Home Health Care, Brushtale Studios, Arya Play and participates in various
national healthcare committees. He serves on the boards of Proklean Technologies (chemicals),
IIT RTBI Incubator (rural technology incubation), Health Sensei (technology) and Dr. Mehta’s
Hospitals (healthcare). He is on the Executive Committee of the Chennai Angels and Consortium
of Healthcare Providers of India.
Muthu Singaram
Chief Executive Officer of IITM HTIC MedTech Incubator and Founder of Vibazone Pvt Ltd. He is a regular
speaker at many international Entrepreneurship conferences and a lead facilitator for innovation and
other workshops. Currently he is the innovation driver for several companies and Universities in Canada,
India and Malaysia. Also, the authored two books “Entrepreneurship: A Hand on Guide To Starting Your
Business” and “Greenfield – Suggested Standard operating procedures for Incubators”
Dr.Rama Krishnan
Ramakrishnan RS, MD, DNB, is a Consultant Radiologist at MedALL Health Care Pvt. Limited and
Malar Fortis Hospitals. He received his degrees from Kilpauk Medical College and Sri
Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute. Dr. Krishnan completed a fellowship in
cardiac MRI at Sankt Gertrauden Krakenhaus (Berlin). His areas of interest are body imaging,
cardiac CT, and MRI.
Dr.Ajit Mullasari
Dr. Ajit Sankardas Mullasari, MBBS, MD, DM (Cardiology) currently holds the position of Director
of Cardiology at the Institute of Cardio-Vascular Diseases, Madras Medical Mission, Chennai,
India. His interests include Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Imaging, Clinical Research and
Research in Basic Cardiac Sciences. He has published 150 peer-reviewed papers and around 200
abstracts in peer reviewed journals. He has been the Primary Investigator in the last 5 years in 21
major National / International trials. He has served as a Member of the Task Force for Stem Cell
Research, Dept. of Biotechnology, Government of India. He has been the Chief Editor of the
Journal of the Institute of Cardio-Vascular Diseases and serve on the Editorial Board for
Interventional Cardiology in the Indian Heart Journal. On the social front, he is a founder trustee
for SANKALP, a school for autistic and learning disability children in Chennai catering to 250
children with these disabilities.
