It is nothing but the structure of the company. We can call it as Enterprise structure or
Organizational structure of the business. Below organizational unit we have in Enterprise
structure.

1. COMPANY CODE.
Company Code is a unique four alphanumeric characters that represents an

independent and legal accounting entity. It's the smallest and minimum necessary
organizational structure in SAP that required by law to provide a set of financial reports
(such as Balance Sheet and Profit/Loss Statements).
 FINANCE consultant is responsible to define company code.

 The highest organizational unit for FI consultant is company
code.
 The length of the company code is 4 digits.
 It may be numeric, alphabet or alphanumeric. (i.e. 1234,
ABCD or AB11).

Scenarios For Multiple Company Code.
 Company is having business with multiple countries. (HUL)
 Company is having sister concern company (Group of company) or having

business in multiple sector.

some other sales conditions to observe sales statistic. All sales documents are created for a
sales organization only. Here we will find sales key person where we make strategic decision
for sales & services which happens inside the organization.

 It may be numeric, alphabet or both.

Tea, jam, Ice cream, Snacks, Biscuits, Juice etc.

 SD CONSULTANT will define SALES OFFICE.

 Max. Length for sales office is 4 digit codes.
 In our project, each state has 1 sales office. For our practice we define only 1 sales
office.

you will find sales key person but in sales office you will find sales manager.
 In sales organization you can take strategic decision related to sales but in sales
office you can’t take.
6. SALES GROUP: -
Group of people inside a sales office working for particular activities.

 SD consultant will define SALES GROUP.

It is a physical location where do the process of manufacturing finished goods where we stored finished
goods.

 In SAP Depot and C&F will be treated as a plant.
 Depot  it is a physical location where we store the finished goods

for easy distribution of goods to customer. Depot will be owned by
company.

 C & F (Carrying & Forwarding agency)  It is a physical location

where we stored the finished goods for easy distribution of
goods to end customer. C & F will be owned by third party person.
 In our project we have 2 plants for our practice purpose we define

only two plants.

Manual shipping point:-
We use manual shipping point for handle with care product (any luxurious items, glass items
or explosive items). Here we use labor to loads the goods into truck. If we use crane to load
the goods then there is chances to damage the same.
