Accomplishment Report

The Virtual Completion Rites of Matnog National High School

concludes the milestone of the teachers, learners and parents in the goal of
continuing education amid the pandemic. The theme “Strengthening Quality
Education Amid COVID-19 pandemic proves that despite of the present situation,
the basic right and need to educate Filipino learners should never stop. Hence,
through the efforts of the Department and the willingness of every schools to
deliver quality education, no learners are still left behind.

The 567 total number of completers for this school year was
composed 284 male students and 283 female students. All of these students were
taught using the Modular Learning Modality and with the help of teachers and
parents they successfully completed all of the requirements needed for them to
participate in this momentous event. The Completion rites were celebrated
virtually where the program was aired via Facebook live last July 15, 2021 at
exactly 4:00 in the afternoon.

Being the first Virtual Rite to be conducted in Matnog National

High School it was expected that there will be several inconveniences that will take
place during the airing of the program. Since the advisers created the final list of
the completers last Monday July 12, 2021, the committee really did experienced
constraints in the time of preparation that is why, there are students who are not
included the actual video since the Committee Chair for video presentation can no
longer edit the video knowing that it will took another 12 hours to finalize it,
making it difficult and impossible to air the video on the scheduled time and day.
The advisers should have rendered full cooperation to the committees since most
of the data needed for the program must be coming from them.

Although there were several misfortunes during the said program,

we are still able to finished the program smoothly and successfully acknowledging
the success of all the completers.

CONDUCT OF COMPLETION RITES FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021

RATIONALE:
The Department of Education announces the DepEd Memorandum No. 27 s. 2021 on the
Conduct of End of School-Year (EOSY) Rites for Kindergarten, Grade 6, Grade 10 and
Grade 12 with the theme: Kalidad ng Edukasyon lalong Patatagin sa Gitna ng pandemya
(Strengthening the Quality of Education amid the COVID-19 Pandemic). As the annual year-end
activity its primary objectives are:
1. Commencement exercises serve as a transition point for the individual members of the
graduating/ completing class who will follow diverse paths into futures that may include
higher education.
2. Recognize and award the hard work and achievements of the learners on their academic
endeavor in the entire school year.

In connection with this, the Junior High School Department of Matnog National High
School will be conducting the Completion Rites for Grade 10 Students between the dates of July
12-16, 2021 as stated in the said memorandum. However, to adhere the protocols set the by the
Department of Health, IATF, and Office of the president in the light of COVID-19 pandemic, the
usual process of commencement exercises will be changed to follow the health protocols. Thus,
instead of a Face-to-Face Ceremony, the school shall adapt Virtual completion Rites.

The School administration shall decide to what manner shall the Ceremony be conducted.
Hence, the consent and approval of the parents, learners, Parents-Teachers Association (PTA),
Stakeholders, and Local Government Unit (LGU) must be secured.
