Expectation to the OB RLE Exposure

Because of the threat of widespread infection, the COVID-19 pandemic has transformed our lives, forcing
schools to close and students to take lessons online. Adapting to the "new normal" is difficult for all of us, but that
doesn't stop us from pursuing a career in nursing. RLE, which focuses on Obstetrics plays a vital role in a woman’s
health. It specializes in pregnancy, childbirth, and the woman's reproductive system. OB's work together with nurses,
who may walk through the birthing process with moms who are about to deliver and help parents adjust to their new
roles after delivery. This learning experience is a very crucial area since we ensure the good health of a mother and
her good health also helps to ensure the good health of her newborn child and the rest of her family, especially
focusing on the reduction of maternal, perinatal, infant and childhood mortality and morbidity and the promotion of
reproductive health and the physical and psychosocial development of the child and adolescent within the family. The
following are the key factors of maternal morbidity and mortality: pregnancy, the occurrence of pregnancy-related
problems, and the birth of a child encompassing the management of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, as
well as complications after abortion. In reality, with effective care, almost all suffering and death can be avoided. It is
always important to address the above-mentioned factors, as women need to be physically, mentally & socially
healthy to fulfill their reproductive duty safely and efficiently and to be a contributing member of their community. In
fact, almost all of the suffering and death is preventable with proper management.

My expectation during our class was to be relaxed and informative at the same time, an environment where we
could find enjoyment through this passion in giving health care. Since the main problem that we students are facing
during our online class engagement is connectivity problems and power outages, matters that we can’t avoid or
control, we hope for your patience and understanding. Overseeing the opportunity to watch life enter the world would
be a remarkable experience for me, and one that I will never forget. The importance of RLE is very important because
it is a combination of theoretical and practical learning experiences that enables us, as nursing students, to acquire
the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for providing nursing care in different clinical settings. Which help us
grow as professionals, allow ourselves to be more creative and make unique connections between different sets of
data, and contribute to new knowledge about challenges. We are encouraged to progress and face the challenges by
the Obstetric Unit. The urge to establish one's own particular style is aided by an experience in which this desire is
acknowledged, where independence can be developed, and where the ability to provide care aids learning.
