Socially Responsible Companies

3. Warby Parker: when you buy a pair, a pair is distributed to someone in
need
4. Ben & Jerry’s: has supported a number of important causes, many of
which are directly tied to the business of making ice cream.
5. LEGO:  invest $400 million over the next three years to support their
social responsibility and sustainability efforts.
6. Lemonade: they gave over $1.1 million to charities including ACLU, March
For Our Lives, and The Trevor Project.
7. Microsoft:  raised over $221 million for nonprofits
8. The Grove Collaborative: for every shipment, they purchase carbon credits
to counterbalance their emissions

fund
10. Levi Strauss: All new mannequins are made from 100% recycled base
stock, and the company is currently working on a recycled denim coat
hanger.

Warby Parker is an eyewear company, while Dr. Bronner's is a company that creates
organic soaps and more personal care products. Both companies I think give the necessary
importance to social responsibility, they manage a program and they are committed to it.
Warby Parker has made it a point that if someone buys a pair of glasses or lenses, they will
immediately give one to anyone who needs it. Dr. Bronner's is very committed to
campaigns against animal cruelty, and they bring it out in each of their products. It has
helped them, they are solid companies that have grown over the years, the work they do
creates in people the warm feeling that they are helping others while buying their products,
it’s a great initiative that makes more and more people engage in social responsibility.
