Dear fellows raise your hands for dua.
O Allah! Guides us, in all our endeavors so that we can bring a good name to
our parents, to our teachers, to our alma maters and to our Muslim Ummah. O Allah
be a guide and mentor.( aamin)
The man who conceived the idea of a separate homeland for the Muslims of
Sub-Continent;
The man who empowered Muslim Youth with the armour of unflagging faith
deeply coated with a rich sense of selfhood
and the man who made the Muslims realize that they are actually the ‘Mard-
e-Momin whose foremost obligation is nothing else than exploring the new
horizons with a sharp vision as that of ‘Shaheen’ could be no one else, but IQBAL,
the great poet of EAST…!!!
Allama Muhammad Iqbal, a poet, philosopher, politician, academic, barrister,
scholar and a great inspiration for the Pakistan Movement, was born in Sialkot on
November 9, 1877.  He gave the idea of a separate homeland for Muslims in North-
West of India in his presidential address of All India Muslim League, annual
meeting held at Allahabad in 1930, where they can practice their religion and live
freely.
If we say that he was the conceptual founder of Pakistan it wouldn’t be wrong.
He not only proposed a homeland for the Muslims of Sub-continent but also tried to
wake up the whole Muslim Ummah through his visionary and philosophical ideas
depicted in his poetry.

Poetry of Iqbal holds the most important place in the diversity of Urdu
language. Urdu Language and Iqbal’s poetry has played a major role in the cultural
diversity. His best literary work includes Asrar-e-Khudi, Payam- i-Mashriq, Bang-i-
Dara, Bal-i-Jibril, Zarb-i-Kalim and Armughan-e-Hijaz
Iqbal died in Lahore on April 21, 1938. He is buried in Lahore near Badshahi
Masjid in a famous park called Hazuri Bagh.
MPS believes that celebrating such events is fruitful only when we learn
something good and effective out of them. we also emphasize that we all must go
ahead with the vision of Iqbal, and as a Mard-e-Momin, to face the challenges of
modern times.
