Introduction:
You are required to develop a potential Project Proposal as a part of this module
requirements. There should be a clear connection made between your award and the chosen
topic/problem. Basically, your project proposal should clearly specify, what is your project
problem/ topic, why (significance & background/context) your project problem/topic is one that
is crucial being solved, how (methodology) you intended to solve and when (plan) of your
project development. The project proposal will be perused by your FYP supervisor and second
assessor (advisor).
Eg:
2. Introduction: All the necessary basics and key terms should be briefed here, hence that a
reader can understand your proposal.
3. Project / Problem Background: A detailed literature study should be done here, not
simply provide background information to your study. You should discuss the
significance of your project and justify your project idea. Key articles should be cited,
particularly those whose work you expect to be using or developing.
Context:
Significance:
5. Aim & Objectives: In your aim should reflect what you want to do in your project and in
your objectives reflect why you want to do this project. Your objectives should be clear,
achievable, and measurable. You will need to show that the aim is feasible, and so there
should be enough evidence provided to allow a reader to make a reasoned judgement on
this.
Objective: Specific, achievable, and measurable, why, usually more than one statements.
6. Project Development Methodology: Give a detailed outline and justify of your project
development approach, primary and secondary data collection methods, sampling, data
analysis methods, design, implementation and testing plan, and including a project
schedule.
8. Resources (IR): Show what Resources you expect to need to help you produce the
project deliverables. This can include examples of particular kinds of resource, (you can
only really define your requirements for resources when you have completed a proper
evaluation of what is available), and must include relevant texts, journals & electronic
sources of information.
