1. Health & Safety Objectives


- To comply to the applicable legal and other requirements
- To conduct Health & Safety induction and awareness training for all new employees.
- To achieve zero Lost Time Injury (LTI) and Occupational Illness

2. Health, Safety & Environmental Policy


- Provide adequate awareness and training to all personnel in relation to Health, Safety & Environment
- Taking proactive measures for prevention of work related injuries and health hazards
- Minimize the impact of operation to the environment and prevent pollution
- Complying to applicable legal and other requirement to which the organization subscribed to
- Continually improve OHSE performance to achieve our aim of zero harm, good health and pollution free
environment

3. Employee’s Responsibility
- To take reasonable care at work for the safety & heath of yourself and other persons
- To cooperate with the employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty, under company
regulations
- To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health as required under the
company regulations
- To report any incident/accident occurred in the work place to the person in charge

4. Emergency Response Plan


- Procedure to follow in various emergency scenarios (e.g. fire, explosion, chemical spills, flood, violence,
etc)
- Aware of the emergency route & evacuation procedure.
- Knows the emergency evacuation procedures, location of the emergency equipments and emergency
zone
- Reassemble area during emergency & adhere to the given instruction
- Emergency respond phone numbers (Fire Department, Ambulance & Medical Assistance, HR Dept.,
SHO). Emergency contact numbers are paste in the plant buildings and on EHS notice boards.

5. Safety Guard EHS Requirements
- Always comply with company Safety Rules and Regulations.
- To ensure both the main gates are always closed- open when required only. These include the small
gate.
- To ensure all doors is locked after office hours. Entrance to the building (main doors)
- To ensure the Guard house is always occupy – at least one person inside the room at any time.
- Smoking is strictly not allowed inside the guard house.
- To ensure all the security guards knows the plant layout very well, able to assess any location & keep
monitoring plant security 24 hours. (No sleeping in the plant)- Action will be taken against the guard if
get caught.
- To ensure all security guards knows how to set & reset and location of the security devices and respond
to any alarm sounding immediately.
- To keep monitoring contractors coming in and going out form the plant. Any suspicious, stop their
vehicles & inform the head security.
- Do not allow caterer parked their vehicles inside the compound. After load and unload their things, they
need to remove their car for the compound.
- To ensure all the CCTV are monitored 24 hours and any suspicious, please check immediately and
inform the head security.
- Record all the incidents and any emergency situation into the record books and update the head
security at all the time.
- To always keep monitoring Bus parking area at outside & instruct to remove from obstructing the road
view. Inform the head security & record if necessary.

6. Personal Safety Responsibilities


- Familiar with the safety equipments (e.g. Fire Extinguisher, First Aid Kid Box) that regulated by the
company.
- Attend all the safety training that your employer offer. Training will help you to identify Hazard & take
appropriate precaution to protect you and co-workers.
- Maintain your personal work area and common work area in clean and orderly manner; good house
keeping means a safer work place.
- Talk & suggest to the management if you have any safety & health issues in the work place.
- All incidents / accidents and near-misses should be reported to the management and the preventive
action taken can lead to a safer environment.
- Share your responsibilities with the management for safer working environment.
