Adverb of manner, place and time

“Why Do tigers have stripes?

Long ago, tigers did not have stripes as they do now. Instead, they
were bright all over. This does not mean, however, that tigers were tame in
those days. One day, a man name Tahtoh, as busily cutting rattan in the
forest. He did not notice a tiger silently moved his way nearer to him. “I am
going to eat you”, roared the tiger. Tahtoh calmed himself. He should not
show any fear and replied “Oh well, you can do as you wish. It doesn’t
matter to me.”
Tiger: “Why are you not afraid of me?
Tahtoh: Oh, all of us are going to die soon anyway. There’s a flood coming
and the water will cover all the earth. It will reach up to the skies and by
then, everybody would have died, including you. This is why I am cutting
rattan. I shall tie myself and my family on top of the trees to save us”.
Tiger: Please let me join you. I shall not eat you anymore. Tie me too,
together with my family on the tree.

Having done so, Tahtoh bid the tiger goodbye. He said he had to go
and tie the other member of h family. Days passed, no flood cam, and the
tiger got hungrier every day. The tiger thought that Tahtoh might have
