Continued advancement in computing technology has led to the gathering of colossal data

from various sources. This has created the need for efficient approaches to analyzing big data to

facilitate data-driven decisions, especially in the corporate sector. To equip me with the

necessary knowledge and skills in computing and extensive data analysis, I wish to enroll in an

MS in Data Science program. I believe seizing an opportunity to study at this university will

significantly enhance attaining my academic and professional goals by leveraging on the

institution’s vast resources and diverse culture. Through the interaction and experience in

computing, I have developed a great desire to research human-computer interaction, business

intelligence, data science, and blockchain technology to achieve enhanced process efficiency.

Most importantly, skills, experiences gained while working in the field of computing, and past

education provides me with the necessary background to meet the demands of the course.

Some of the critical skills necessary in accomplishing the requirements of the program

that I possess are critical thinking, excellent communication, and programming in PHP, Latex,

Javascript, and C++. More so, I possess fundamental technical skills in Windows and Linux

operating systems, MYSQL, Firebase, and MongoDB databases, and software, such as VS Code,

Microsoft Office, and Android studio. As a web developer in one of the leading companies in

Pakistan, I have handled multiple clients, allowing me to understand the needs and challenges

facing today’s businesses. Therefore, pursuing the course will enable me to leverage the acquired

knowledge in data science to provide efficient approaches and solutions to various challenges

facing businesses. In my secondary school education, I pursued science and proceeded to

undertake pre-engineering in higher secondary school education. Additionally, I pursued BSc in

software engineering at RIPHAH International University. Thus, my educational background

remains a significant factor in facilitating the completion of MS in data science.
