language.

In mathematics language was designed for numbers, sets, and functions and
also to perform functions that can help us for convenient understanding.

4. Explain the following characteristics of mathematical language:


A) Precise (ACCURATE) refers to how consistent any given values are with each
other. It shows the closeness of the given values, or measurements are with
each other.
B) Concise (briefly/ summary) able to express complex thoughts with relative
ease
C) Powerful (be able to express complex thoughts)

5. What is the word “variable” and its advantages in


mathematics?
It represented a letter like x or y. Also, a symbol of a value
we’re about to discover.

the advantage of variable is it helps us by allowing us to


give a temporary name on what we are seeking so that we
can perform concrete computations discovering its
possible value.

6. What is the difference between the following word and

A) Equal sets and Equivalent sets • Equal sets - sets with


exactly the same element and cardinality.

disjoint since no elements is common.
