random what are the chances it is blue?

Answer: C. Because, half of the balls are blue

14. In a business employing a staff of 103, there are 33 more men than women. How many
women are there?

Answer: 35 women and 68 men

X= men Y= women

x+y=103 and x=y+33, y+33+y =103, 2y = 70, y = 35 women 103-35= 68 men.

15. A shirt normally costs £42. If you receive a 15% discount, how much change will you get from
£50?

Answer: 14.3£ 42*0.15= 6.3, 42-6.3= 35.7, 50-35,7 = 14.3
