INTRODUCTION

In 1767, a Lancashire entrepreneur, Richard Arkwright (1732–92), devised a simple but remarkable
spinning machine. Replacing the work of human hands, the water frame made it possible to spin cotton yarn
more quickly and in greater quantities than ever before. A spinning machine is a piece of equipment which is
used to spin fibers such as wool, flax, or cotton into thread, yarn, and related materials. Spinning machines
come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

The spinning is the foremost part of the textile industry. The process of spinning contains twisting of
extensive strands of fiber to form yarn. This yarn is then used in textiles to produce the fabrics and clothing.
The spinning machine produces the yarns or threads from the raw material of fibers such as cotton. The
cotton is a natural fiber and when it processed through the spinning machine it comes out as yarns or threads.
This yarn is used to sewing the clothes. Otherwise, it is used to make the cotton fabrics and from the cotton

Organization Structure
An organizational structure is a system that outlines how certain activities are directed in order to
achieve the goals of an organization. These activities can include rules, roles, and responsibilities. The
organizational structure also determines how information flows between levels within the company.

DEPARTMENTAL STRUCTURE TO IDENTIFY SPAN OF CONTROL


This company has two types of departments one department is for consultancy in this department
they will take care of the activities of managing the data within the organization and they will give
consultancy services to their customers and the other department is for sales and services in this department
they will take care of sales and the after sales services to their customers it is the centralized control where
the authority and orders are coming from the one source.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This company follows the traditional vertical reporting structure where the front level managers will
report their daily progress to their immediate middle level managers and the managers will update the same
information to the top-level management. This type of reporting culture helps the employees and employers
to identify and complete their roles and responsibilities clearly and when the problem arises this culture
helps the employer to identify the employee’s point of view and clear the problems immediately. This helps
the employees to feel special about them and their need in the organization and work effectively for the
success of the organization.

Production Process

Drafting system:

Drafting system makes important role at yarn quality and performance of the machine. Normally 3
over 3 drafting system is used at ring frame. Total draft, draft distribution and arrangement of drafting
system is very important both for yarn quality and machine performance.

1. Bottom Roller

Bottom Rollers are iron rode used for rolling the yarn. Bottom Roller plays a major role in ensuring
yarn quality. Precise concentricity guarantees high yarn quality (evenness and strength). Equally influential
to yarn breaks are the running conditions of the rollers. Precise running bottom rollers allow to extend the
spinning limits into finer yarn count ranges.

Advantages of Dynamic Bottom rollers

• Made of high-grade alloy steel, hardened and tempered to withstand top arm high pressure.
• They are heat treated at HRC 55 - 60 precision ground and inspected for longer life and durability.
• Maximum eccentricity is maintained at ± 0.02 mm.

• Helical and grounded flutes for better yarn quality and perfect transfer of fibres
• Higher return on investment.

1. Top Roller
Top roller quality is of major importance for spinning quality yarn. The smooth running of
the top roller in the direct contact with the roving influences the drafting result and herewith the
quality. Texparts top rollers are fitted with antifriction bearing. This brings advantage for all spinning
processes (roving, ring spinning, compact spinning and worsted spinning). A wide range of top roller
versions and gauges offers the ideal fit for every individual application. The top rollers are supplies
without cot as a standard. All basic type can be delivered with ready ground cots according to
customers specification for all types of rubber quality and dimensions.

Source of Income
Income source means all source of income to the community authority, including community
development charges of which the new community authority is the beneficiary as provided in section 349.07
of the revised code, rentals, user fees and other charges received by the new community authority, any gift or
grant received, any monies received from any funds invested by or on behalf of the new community
authority, and proceeds from the sale or lease of land and community facilities. The main source of income
of Spin Draft is sale of its machineries.

Product Description
A product description is a form of marketing copy used to describe and explain the benefits of your
product. In other words, it provides all the information and details of your product on your ecommerce site.
These product details can be one sentence, a short paragraph or bulleted. They can be serious, funny or
quirky.

Digital Marketing

Digital marketing, also called online marketing, is the promotion of brands to connect with potential
customers using the internet and other forms of digital communication. This includes not only email, social
media, and web-based advertising, but also text and multimedia messages as a marketing channel.

Types of Digital Marketing

Some of the most popular types of digital marketing, providing a brief overview of each:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

The goal of SEO is to get a business to rank higher in Google search results, ultimately increasing
search engine traffic to the business’s website. To accomplish this, SEO marketers research words and
phrases consumers are using to search for information online and use those terms in their own content.
According to leading SEO software company Moz's "Beginners Guide to SEO," SEO encompasses many
elements, from the words on your web pages to the way other sites link to you on the web to how your
website is structured.

is, by doing things like adding alt text for images and text transcripts for video and audio content.

▪ Keywords and keyword targeting – Properly deploying your keywords – i.e. the search terms you
want your site to be found for in your content and headers is one of the fundamental building blocks
of SEO. It is no longer good practice to “stuff” your content with as many keywords and keyword
variations as possible. Writing high-quality content that uses keywords in the headers and a few
times in the crawl-able page content is now considered better practice and will make pages rank
better in search results.

Content marketing uses information sharing to increase brand awareness. Ultimately, the goal is to
have the reader take an action towards becoming a customer, such as requesting more information, signing
up for an email list, or making a purchase. “Content” can mean blog posts, resources like white papers and e-
books, digital video, podcasts, and much more. In general, it should first and foremost provide value to the
consumer, not just advertise the brand or try to make a sale. Content marketing is about building a
sustainable, trusting relationship with your customers that can potentially lead to many sales over time, not
just making a single transaction.

Email Marketing

Even with the emergence of social media, mobile applications and other channels, email is still one
of the most effective marketing techniques, Rogers said. It can be part of a content marketing strategy,
providing value to consumers and over time convert an audience into customers. Email marketing pros not
only know how to create compelling campaigns, they also understand optimal audience outreach and are
skilled at analysing customer interactions and data, and making strategic decisions based on that data,

This digital marketing type is this focused on reaching your target audience on their smart phone or
tablet. Mobile marketing reaches people through text messages, social media, websites, email and mobile
applications. Marketers can tailor offers or special content to a geographic location or time, such as when a
customer walks into a store or enters an event.

Marketing Analytics

One of the major advantages of digital marketing is that it is highly trackable and measurable. Once,
the only trackable marketing pieces were coupons and similar direct mail offers. If a customer used the
coupon, you knew the message resonated. Today, analytics allow marketers to track user behaviour at a
highly detailed level: how many times they click on a link, how much time they spend on a web page, how
often they open emails, and much more. But the vast amount of information available about digital
marketing performance can feel like drinking from a fire hose, and marketers must be able to truly
understand what the data mean and how they should inform strategy.

Recruitment may be defined as the process of attracting right talent with right skills, right attitude
and right experience. It is one of the very important and most discussed topics of human resource.
Recruitment nowhere is used alone. It includes various terms with it, those terms are selection and induction.
As per recruitment and selection policy the process of talent acquisition starts from recruitment and is
processed further with selection and continues till induction. We can explain the term selection as well as
induction. Selection is the process of choosing the best person for a given position. Recruitment is attraction
and selection is to choose. Induction means introducing the person to position. In other words, we can say
success of the company is based on right recruitment to a very large extent as the process of recruitment is
based on proper strategies.
An organisation to survive well must have a concise Recruitment and Selection Policy so that it can
have the best talent from a pool of candidates. Having a robust recruitment policy is the first demand of an
efficient hiring process. The company must follow the recruitment policy and procedure.

Wages and Salary


Salary is a fixed amount paid or transferred to the employees at regular intervals for their performance and
productivity, at the end of the month whereas wages are hourly or daily based payment given to the labor for
work finished in a day.

Conclusion

The project study at Spindraft has help me in gaining a good industry exposure and enhance my
knowledge. The project has helped me in developing a better knowledge regarding the industry and
organizations that will prove to be of worthy during the placements.
From the study conducted it was found out that the organization environment was systemic, and the
interdepartmental communication were found effective. The company also takes various steps to keep up the
quality from its raw materials to the final product and also takes innovation as serious factor for its
technology development.
Summing up, I am thankful to the Company and the Project that gave me an opportunity where I
could learn new things, enhance my knowledge, gain some industry exposure and at the same time, do
something that could be beneficial for the company, and it’s interested people.
