diesel range from Perkins.
Originality with productivity
The 403C-11 hits a completely new power node for the Perkins range. Developed in
consultation with our market place, this 1.13 litre engine offers a choice of rated speeds
with a top rated speed of 3000 rpm.
Clean and quiet
In addition to its emissions performance, the smoke emission levels of the 403C-11 are
invisible to the naked eye (below 2 Bosch). Noise levels are now as low as 68 dB(A) at
low idle thanks to redesign of the combustion system. Subjective harshness has also
been reduced - making the engine sound even quieter.

Built to the most demanding Durable and reliable

standards, the 400 Series Product design and process improvements have been implemented to enhance both
engines meet all the engine reliability and durability. A highly efficient governor, special valve seat inserts and
requirements of EC Stage 2 and new compliance testing have been introduced to deliver reliability and 6,000 hours
