Airstream to launch new “My Airstream Story” campaign

ATHENS, Ga. — Airstream Inc. will launch a new social media campaign, “My Airstream Story,”
beginning Aug. 1, 2021.

The campaign will feature selected stories submitted by Airstream users on Airstream’s Instagram,
Twitter, and Facebook accounts. The selected stories will highlight how Airstream has allowed people to
see the world, live simply, connect with others, and live sustainably. Users can use the hashtag
#AirstreamStory on their posts for a chance to be featured on one of Airstream’s social media accounts.

“We’re really excited about this campaign,” said Airstream CEO Bob Wheeler. “This will give our
followers a chance to see the real people behind the Airstream community and see the impact Airstream
has had on people’s lives.”

The campaign will run until Dec. 31, and an “Airstream Stories” page will be added to the Airstream
website for the duration of the campaign.

with the hashtag #AirstreamStory will be commented on by the official Airstream account for that
platform. All Airstream Stories featured on Airstream social media accounts will also be featured on the
Airstream Stories page on Airstream.com. Selected stories that were not selected to be featured on the
Airstream social media accounts will also be featured on the web page. This campaign targets Airstream
users and current followers of Airstream social media accounts. The goal is for people to post their
Airstream Stories on their personal accounts, which will allow a person’s followers who don’t follow
Airstream to be exposed to the brand. The ultimate aim is to increase Airstream’s social media following
by targeting the social media followers of other Airstream users, while also fostering the community of
current Airstream users.

Today’s #AirstreamStory comes from @macyellis2. Macy has been an Airstream owner since 2016, and
has traveled all over the United States with her dog, Terry, as her travel buddy.

“Terry and I have had the opportunity to travel from coast to coast several times, meeting people from all
over and experiencing all of the different cultures that exist in America. Not many people get to
experience as many small towns in America as we have, and I have been surprised by how much the
quaint communities that seem to exist in the middle of nowhere have to offer. I have had conversations
with strangers that will stay with me for the rest of my life, and I have learned so much about the
importance of empathy and understanding.

When I started this journey, it was so important to me to have an RV that was reliable. As a single woman
traveling cross country, safety is really important. I couldn’t have my vehicle breaking down in the
middle of nowhere. My Airstream has never failed us yet. I can have confidence in my travels (and give
my parents some peace of mind) because I know I can trust my home on wheels.”
