With extreme grief and a heavy heart, we would like to inform you that the company
would not be needing your services from 10th April 2021.But please don’t doubt your
ability for a moment. You have been a great contributor to company’s success for last
so many years with such a meaningful and beautiful familial relationship shared
between us.
This tough and sad decision has been taken in the view of the unforeseen
circumstances that have cropped up resulting in loss for the 3 rd consecutive quarter for
the company. Rest assured your respective manager will help to clear all the dues
accruing to you at the earliest plus an additional salary of 2 months to help you tide over
the distress caused by this difficult decision. Also please feel free to reach out to our
hired career consultant for a smooth switch to a firm that suits your ability.
Lastly, I would like to apologize for this harsh step which I have been induced to take
given the circumstances. I very well know that there is no substitute to the grief and
turmoil that you would face but I assure you while writing this mail it is the same for me
as well. Please do reach out to your manager for any personal/ professional help that
you need which we would be more than happy to mitigate and resolve as per the best
possibility within the purview of company’s policies.

is not known to self but known to others)
I am reaching out to give feedback regarding your performance. I could see that your
individual performance has been tremendous in the past financial year but when it came
to teamwork, I could see a downfall. As you are having a lot of potential and you are a
hard worker, I wanted to know the root cause of the problem. When I tried investigating
further, I got to know that people in the team are reluctant to work with you because of
the strong cologne you use which seems to be causing the trouble and is the actual
culprit despite you being a good worker. On further digging into the issue a common
problem faced by your co-workers was that the strong odour of your perfume makes
them dizzy and gives them headache which they find annoying and makes them difficult
to concentrate on their work. It also creates breathing problems for other workers like
shortness of breath and nausea. As you know if your team’s work environment gets
compromised because of you, you would be not able to meet expectations of your team
and superiors. You would agree to me that in work places our attires and other toiletries
used by us should be welcoming rather than repulsive. Clearly my intention is not of
offending or demeaning you but to offer you constructive feedback to enable you to
excel in your professional environment. I hope I didn’t offend you and you would take
this as a constructive feedback, and it would be great if you switch over to lighter
smelling perfumes.

Conclusion: Once Ragini received the feedback the blind spots will be reduced as she
will be aware of the problem which was not known to her earlier and would try her best
to minimize it.
