What are Tracks are small groups (12-15) of like-
minded Changemakers who meet each
week during our Monday Coordination Calls.

Tracks? Tracks are led and facilitated by Leads, who

are alumni of the Youth Delegate Program,
and are trained in our methodology in order
to help foster each Delegate's individual
goals and growth during the program.

Each week, Tracks will discuss critical

challenges that they face as it relates to the
each topic, and take Actions on a weekly
basis to put their learning into practice.

Delegates build close-knit relationships with

their fellow Track Delegates and Leads
throughout the program.

There are several Tracks available, and you may
fit the criteria for more than one track.
We recommend that prospective Delegates
apply for Tracks that are most relevant to them
or what they are working toward. There is no
right or wrong Track.

What are the core

Opportunities often arise for Youth Delegates, especially during the UN

General Assembly. During UNGA, we select our most active Delegates
to represent us on a Global Stage.

for life! All Alumni receive full access to Passport, our
online community platform, where they can continue to
network with current Delegates and Alumni, receive
mentorship, and access to online events, toolkits, and

Our most active and engaged Youth Delegates are often put
forward for opportunities, internships, and engagements
after the program is over.

Delegates are also encouraged to attend Camp 2030, our

annual convening of youth leaders in New York in 2022.

We encourage Delegates to fundraise for their

space, and many Delegates find sponsorship
from their work or university to participate in

FAQ:
How do you select the Delegates?
We are looking for Delegates who have proven
commitment to the SDGs through their action -
meaning that they're taking actions (not just
talking) for the Global Goals.
We also look for demonstrated commitment to
our core values. That's important too.
I can't attend the Monday Coordination Calls.
Can I still participate?
No. All Delegates are required to participate in
at least 80% of our Monday Coordination Call.
What happens if I'm not selected?
We highly encourage you to apply again! We
receive a high volume of applications for each
Cohort, which means we are unable to select
everyone. We run 3 Cohorts per year, so we
recommend trying again nect time!
How do I know what Track to pick?
There is no right or wrong Track. We highly
encourage you to apply for the Track that meet
syour needs and goals most. You might like
the idea of more than one Track. For those of
you exploring, you can choose the Pathfinders
Track.
Is UNITE 2030 partnered with the UN?
UNITE 2030 is partnered with the UN
Foundation, which is part of the UN System.
We are part of the Global Goals Week partner
coalition, a coalition of organizations working
toward the SDGs. We are also partnered with
many more incredible organizations whose
mission aligns with ours.
Can becoming a Youth Delegate guarantee me
an internship/job/opportunity with the UN or
another organization?
The short answer is no. Our Youth Delegates
are the first people we put forward when we
need youth speakers for events, and we always
share new opportunities/connections with
Delegates when they arise. But these come on
an ad hoc basis and are never guaranteed.
