The last man standing is a woman.

Good morning (afternoon). Today I will be sharing to you the words of

knowledge, the law of the wise and the fountain of truth about the anti-
violence against women.

The issue of gender-based violence is at the heart of human rights.

We all know that we have to do much more to respond to the cries for
justice of women and children who have suffered violence. We have to do
much more to end these horrible abuses and the impunity that allows these
human rights violations to continue.

Most of the victims of gender inequality are women which the society
told us that we are weaker than man. The society has been aware but the
real question here is, when are we going to have that ‘Equality’? The picture
of a girl whose shouting and yet she is mute to the world that is full of deaf
is very visible nowadays. Women Violence and discrimination which forbid
women to show themselves and what are her capabilities are the cancers in
this world. Who are you to say those cruel words if the person who brought
you in this world is a woman.

My point here is, women can do more than that we are capable to do
amazing works. We can do man’s work. We can be a pilot, a doctor, an
attorney, a police woman and a soldier that will also protect the country.

According to an article in the Health and Human Rights Journal,

regardless of many years of advocacy and involvement of many feminist
activist organizations against women violence still remains. There are many
actions that can appear violence and harassment to the woman’s side.
Crimes that can ruin one’s life such as rape, discrimination, bullying, killing,
and others.

Anti- Violence against women is one of the campaigns of the whole

world. The UN women that was built few years ago has made the Anti –
violence against women the top concern and priority. The organization
believe that this era opens more opportunity for us, for who we are, for what
we are. The silence on violence against women has been broken. Now is the
time for stronger action. Little by little the whole world will learn how to
shout and listen to what we are fighting for.
Based on findings from UN Women’s 2011-2012 Progress of the
World’s Women out of all the countries, 37 have legislation against domestic
violence, 34 have legislation against sexual harassment, and just nine have
legislation against marital rape. Governments are called to take an action
such as policies and programs that explicitly prohibit and punish violence
must be put into place.

Fortunately, we have the key to resolve this issue, we will continue to

improve the knowledge base for ending violence against women by
developing additional learnings and updating our society by feeding their
minds the fruit of knowledge. I am calling everyone to join us to tackle three
areas: safety, access and voice, so women can live free of violence, enjoy
equal access of opportunities and resources; and exercise their voice in
leadership and participation.

A human no matter what her/his color, size, gender, race and voice are
must be respected because you are a human. A woman is something beyond
what you think she is because the strongest person I know is a woman and
that is my mom.

Thank you and again Good morning.
