First Examination Part 2 Essay

1. Explain the theory of evolution by Darwin. How did it become part of the intellectual

revolution?

During the ancient period, Darwin's innovative theory of evolution changed people's
perceptions and views about how humans could evolve from time to time. The theory
explains human evolution and their adaptive abilities to adapt to the environment in which
they live. It was said at the time that it was not only evolving physically, but also in terms
of its cerebral characteristics. As a result, Charles Darwin's theory of human evolution
has been linked to a major intellectual shift.

The Enlightenment in France established a worldview in which everything should be

explained by natural causes, and any reference to or reliance on supernatural causes
was anti-intellectual and contrary to human reason. Darwin's groundbreaking theory that
all life is connected was readily embraced and defended by those who supported material
realism, or naturalism. The theory of evolution, on the other hand, is becoming
increasingly associated with the intellectual revolution. It has an impact on the notion of
human thinking based on analysis, rather than the cost of natural events and occurrences.
However, we cannot dispute that the theory was backed up by multiple claims of natural
discoveries and understandings. As a result, even though the theory violates human
thinking, people may still believe it.

However, because the theory of human evolution has a firm foundation that explains
human evolution and other human notions, it continues to be patronized and taught to
future generations. The theory of Charles Darwin may continue to contradict future
intellectual beliefs, yet since its introduction, the perception of those who believe it has
outweighed the perception of those who oppose it.
2. Do you think it is good/right to engage in science and technology in promoting nation

building? Why or why not?

Science and technology have made a huge contribution to the development of our
society from the start of the scientific period and up until now. In terms of promoting nation
building, in my opinion, it is good to influence it with science and technology. Technology
is constantly tied to development, and technology occurs as science advances. As a
result, science, technology, and development are all proportionate.

Science's contributions to our society have elevated our way of life throughout history,
and it now allows us to be healthier than ever before. We have no longer problematized
the primary basic needs of life, but we are now facing the advancement of technology
and continuing to depend on it in everything we do. The feedback of science and
technology is proportionate to development. It is just good to asscocitae it in terms of
nation building. Science and technology are influencing all of the countries in our world.
That is why it is important to consider the fact that in nation building, we must see that
science and technology are now a vital ingredient in our society in every community on
our planet.
