A. Background Information for Learners

This learner activity sheet will focus on formulating and solving
situational problems involving circular functions accurately.

B. Most Essential Learning Competency

The learner will illustrate the unit circle, and relationship between linear
and angular measures of a central angle in a unit circle; convert degree
measure to radian measure and vice versa; and illustrate angles in standard
position and coterminal angles.

C. Directions/ Instructions:
 Carefully read and follow all the given instructions.
 Used the rubric as guide in an activity when necessary.
 Carefully use the Learner’s Activity Sheets.
 Complete each task diligently and earnestly.
 Take note of the scores you get in every activity.

D. Activities/ Exercises:
There are many problems involving angles in several fields like engineering, medical
imaging, electronics, astronomy, geography and many more. Survey-ors, pilots,
landscapers, designers, soldiers, and people in many other professions heavily use
angles and trigonometry to accomplish a variety of practical tasks. In this lesson, we
will deal with the basics of angle measures together with arc length and sectors.
