Most Hearing Aid fitting software is available here in this file by clicking the Blue links to various
manufacturers’ online download websites. Other software may be hidden and not available online. For
hidden software you will need to use the Procedure For Hidden Software near the end of this file.

 Please keep this under the radar by not posting this content into open forums. In open forums,
the less said about community sharing, the better.
 You are encouraged to share this PDF file and other (Community Shared PDF files) using the
Anonymous File Sharing Procedure near the end of this file.

Bernafon Oasis + OasisNXT is hidden. You will
need to use the PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file. Note that older (2019 or
earlier) versions have both Oasis + OasisNXT included in one download. Bernafon Oasis software
supports older models while the newer OasisNXT software supports newer models (beginning with the
Zerena model). However, beginning with the (2020 OasisNXT version), only OasisNXT is included and not
Oasis. If you want the legacy version/Oasis, install an older version first and then install the newer
OasisNXT only version and it will be installed in addition to your older Oasis version. Alternatively you
can install the earlier version and then let the Updater update to the current version.

Oticon Genie + Genie 2. Note that older (2020.1 or earlier) versions

have both Genie + Genie 2 included in one download. Oticon Genie software supports older models
while the newer Genie 2 software supports newer models (beginning with the Opn model). However,
beginning with the (2020.2 Genie 2 version), only Genie 2 is included and not Genie. If you want the
legacy version/Genie, then install the older 2020.1 version first and then install a newer Genie 2 only
version and it will be installed in addition to your older Genie version. Alternatively you can install the
earlier version and then let the Updater update to the current version. Here’s two clickable links below

Phonak iPFG or Phonak PFG

 Phonak iPFG2.6e is for older/legacy
 Phonak PFG8.6c is for ancient/legacy supports ancient models (think really old, Win7,Vista,XP)

Phonak Target for newer/current is

hidden. You will need to use the PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this
file. During install, Opt out of the Improve-Target feature, no need trying to communicate with Phonak,
eh? After install, you can use the built-in Target Update feature to get the latest/current version.

ReSound SmartFit + Aventa 3 , both included in one

Connexx Fitting Software has two different parts:
1. The Connexx fitting software
2. The Hearing Instrument/HI database

You need a SiFit HI database for Siemens/Signia HIs. You need a RexFit HI database for Rexton HIs. There
are different versions (old/legacy and new/current) of each of the two parts. You will usually find the
two pieces you need together in one download. If you want this to work only for Siemens/Signia HIs
then install only the version with SiFit HI database. If you want this to work only for Rexton HIs then
install only the version with RexFit HI database.

If you want it to work for both (Siemens/Signia and Rexton) then install both versions. After installing
both, you will end up with two HI databases and one Connexx6 then you can choose which HI database
you want to use. Though, for Connexx9 you will end up with two HI databases and two separate
Connexx’s.

Note that there are other (more obscure) Connexx versions (Hansaton, Electone, etc).

Connexx Rexton:
Rexton Connexx 6.5.5/RexFit6.8.4 for Older/Legacy < Broken Link – Does nothing. You will need to use
the PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file.

Rexton Connexx 9.0.8/RexFit9.0.7 for Newer/Current < Broken Link – Does nothing. You will need to
use the PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file.

Connexx Signia/Siemens:
Connexx6.5.5/SiFit6.10 is for Signia older/legacy < Broken Link – Does nothing. You will need to use the
PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file.

Connexx9.2.11/SiFit9.2.11 is for Signia Newer/Current < Broken Link – Does nothing. You will need to
use the PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file.
Starkey Inspire Here’s a clickable link to download Starkey Inspire 2020.

 Starkey Inspire 2020 is for both, newer/current and older/legacy. You will need two parts
(Inspire fitting software, and you also need the Patient Database).
 Initially and after installing Inspire, install Patient Database 2015 as a starter Database. Use your
own username/password. The Database will get updated with each new Inspire release.
 After install, use Inspire Updater to get the latest/current version.
 There is a Multi-Brand Inspire 2018 for (Starkey, Audibel, AGX, micro tech, NuEar) floating
around. But it is old, 2018, and it is static, you cannot update it. Also, it needs to be isolated
from the Starkey-only Inspire. This complicated Multi-Brand version comes with a README file
explaining these oddities.

United HealthCare RelateAurafit

Unitron is hidden. Use the PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the

 Unitron TrueFit 3.5.1 for newer/current,

 Unitron Unifit5.52A even older legacy, it requires Noah Office Management System be installed

Widex is hidden. Use the PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of
this file.

 Widex COMPASS V5 for older/Legacy is for hearing aid families prior to Widex DREAM platform.
 Widex Compass GPS is for programming the DREAM family of hearing aids (or later), which can
only be programmed using Widex PRO LINK, Widex USB Link, or nEARCom. Note that even
though Compass GPS uses only wireless programming devices, there is an addon-device,
the WIDEX PRO LINK Connector (that fits atop the WIDEX PRO LINK) and has
female mini-DIN cable connections for fitting Widex CIC-Micro hearing aids using
cables.
 Install Compass GPS 4.0 (or the latest version you have) and then restart Windows to enable
Compass Updater to download and install the newer versions

EXTRA INFORMATION:
Which version of the fitting software? Generally you will want the latest version of the fitting software.
The latest version is capable of fitting recent hearing aid models, including the latest models. However, if
you have legacy/older hearing aids then the latest software version may not support your older model
and you may need to use the legacy version. Very old legacy software may not even run on modern
Windows 10, you may need to run them on an older system.

Some fitting software (Target, Genie/Genie2, Connexx 8 or higher, Compass GPS, Inspire, other?)
programs have an update feature that will download and install updates for newer fitting software
giving you the latest version. Though, update from legacy-to-modern is not likely to work!

Costco: Your Costco hearing aid model may not show up in the list of supported models until you use
the detect hearing aids feature with your programming device and hearing aids connected to the fitting
software. Some Costco models (generally all ReSound models) will be locked to a Costco-only version of
the fitting software! There is no workaround for Costco-locked hearing aids, Sorry.

PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE:

Some software is hidden/not available for online download. For hidden software use the following
community share procedure:

 Post a request for the specific software you are seeking in the appropriate forum category
where others have been posting their software requests.
 Hopefully a recent beneficiary of sharing (who has received the specific software you are
seeking) will step up to share/Pay-It-Forward. When that happens you will receive a software
download link via PM/Private Message in your forum mail.
 After you receive a shared copy of the software, take your turn to help the next requester by
using the Pay-It-Forward/Share Procedure near the end of this file. TIP: Sometimes the
temporary link you received can be reused (the links last 7 days). But test it first, and if the link
has expired then you will need to upload the file or folder to get a fresh link.
 Sometimes, the sharing chain breaks if the last person ignores the Pay-It-Forward procedure.
When that happens, keep asking for help so that other previous sharers (even though they are
not last in the chain) may step up to offer help.
ANONYMOUS FILE SHARING
PROCEDURE:
For sharing a file or folder with another person use WeTransfer.com for Anonymous File sharing. It is
simple and straight forward to use and you don't need to sign-up for an account.

1. Click I-Agree, I Accept

2. Drag/Drop your file, or folder on the +icon
3. Click the 3-dots icon/bottom-left and select Get-Transfer-Link. Don’t fail to make this selection
otherwise the default is email sharing and you are asked to code/verify your email address!!
4. Click the Get-A-Link button

You will get back an Anonymous/temporary Cloud link. Share ONLY the Anonymous/temporary Cloud
link via PM/Private Message in forum mail. The Anonymous/temporary Cloud link expires in 7 days.

PAY-IT-FORWARD/SHARE PROCEDURE
The procedure below seems to have evolved into just ask for the software and someone will respond.
But we will leave this procedure here just in case. These are instructions for the last person who
received software from the community share procedure. It’s your turn to step up and Pay It Forward! In
a nutshell, you will be sharing the following;

 This file which contains some software or,,,

 A folder (YourFiles) that contains this file, +plus the requested hidden software

Monitor the proper forum category for new software requests. When the next requester is asking for
non-hidden software, which is readily available using links here/within this file, just send them this file.

If you received hidden software (not available online) then continue waiting for a requester to ask for
the same hidden software that you were the last one to receive. Then send them a folder (YourFiles)
that contains this file +plus the hidden software they requested.

After sharing the hidden software once, you duty is done and responsibility is handed off to the next
person. Ideally that’s the way it should work!! However, if you determine that the sharing chain may
stall/break, then you may consider stepping up again to keep the share chain from stalling.
