Expectations from students:
NDDB is implementing Brucellosis control programme in 573
villages in 4 Districts of Gujarat in collaboration with Kaira Milk
Union and Shri Krishna Hospital. Being zoonotic, brucellosis can be
transmitted to humans. Under the project, high risk groups that
could contract the disease are identified and screened for
brucellosis. Till date, 90 symptomatic patients have been treated
and cured of brucellosis. Below are the objectives of this study:
• To evaluate “One health concept” with respect to
Brucellosis
• Work out the cost benefit of human brucellosis.
• Impact of awareness level of livestock owners for
brucellosis control

2. Pre-Post project awareness level on animal and human
brucellosis
1. Evaluation of a case study to strengthen the “One Health”
concept with respect to Brucellosis
