ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We would like to give thanks for those who rendered a lot of knowledge to make this a
research successful research study. First is God for giving strength and knowledge on how to get
information properly although there is hindrance. To Mdm. Charlaine G. Reyes is our teacher in
research subject who guided us to prepare a research with an implication our nation. Next, Felipa
DL. Santiago head teacher of San Pedro National High School who agreed to us conduct research
inside the School even though sometimes we are creating disturbance. Lastly, to our respondents
who gave time to us to answer our research survey questions in a proper manner and they helped
us to complete our research study.
ABSTRACT

The purpose of this quantitative study is to know the preferred school and the factors that
affects the decision of Grade 10 student. This study used the descriptive research design where
information was analyzed and interpreted using text and number. A total of 205 student of San
Pedro National High School were gathered using simple random sampling technique. The
researchers used survey questionnaire as the main instrument. The researchers found that San
Pedro National High School is the most preferred school and the primary reason that affect the
students' choice is the availability of strand.
