To whom it may concern,

On October 1st 2021, a recording session was carried out in Bogotá, Colombia, as part of the
creation of a new piece for my final examination concert for the Multimedia Composition Master
at the HfMT. This piece is a video work in which performers from Colombia, close friends, are
presented on screens, on the stage of the HfMT Forum as if virtually present. This required the
participation of these specific musicians, since the piece is related to distance, virtuality and
nostalgia, and required a small theater with lighting and sound equipment, in order to properly
record each performer with a black background and a spotlight. A recording camera capable of
4K recording was also necessary, given the size of the video screen used in the Forum, and a
camera assistant to handle to camera during the whole recording session, that lasted 4 hours.

For this effect, a small theater was rented out for half a day. The rental included access to lighting
equipment as well as microphones. The name of the theater is “Teatro Libélula Dorada”, and the
cost for the rental was 600,000 COP (approximately 130€).

The camera was rented from Julio Santiago Gómez, who also worked as the camera assistant
during the whole 4 hour session. For this, Gómez received 450,000 COP (approximately 100€)

The musicians involved were Daniel Piedrahita (electric guitar), Alejandro Solano (electric bass),
Rafael García (saxophone) and Ivan Medellín (Accordion). The musicians played for
approximately 1 hour each, and for this, they received 250,000 COP each (approximately 55€).

I kindly request the refund of this money, which does not exceed the budget available for my
