In the reading ​Superman and Me​ written by Sherman Alexie something that really stood

out to me was when Alexie wrote “bookshelves and soon filled them with random assortment of

books…” This personally reminded me of my father as well. When my parents still lived

together as I was growing up my father had bookshelves filled with a lot of different kinds of

books.

The article ​Understanding a Paragraph ​written by KTU SOBE WRITING GROUP

explains a lot of the same ideas on paragraph structure that Alexie wrote on the first page of

Superman and Me​. Alexie wrote “ the words inside a paragraphed worked together for a

common purpose.” This reminded me of the article by KTU that says “ A paragraph is an

organization of a group of sentences. These sentences develop one main idea” .

While I was ready the article ​Superman and Me​ I became interested in the history of the

Spokane Indian Reservation in E Washington state. On the article ​Spokane Tribe of Indians

written by Spokane Tribe of Indians I learned that today the land is 157,376 acres in size.
