Guidelines for Oral Presentation

•Video of presentation will be played from the host screen during the
conference.
•It is mandatory for the presenting author to be present at the time of his/her
video presentation.

o Video presentation submission Last Date: 15th Jan 2022


o Presentation should be on Microsoft Power Point 2007 or later
o The video presentation should include PowerPoint Presentation with
audio and presenters’ own video in the same frame.
o You may use headphones with mic to record audio.
o Maximum duration for video shall be strictly 7 min ONLY.
o No presentation that exceeds the time limit shall be entertained for final
presentation.

 First / Title page of the PPT should ONLY mention


o Title of Presentation
o Name of Presenter
o Registration No. [Example : NATCONXXXXXXXX]

Content of the presentation:


o Background
o Materials & Methods
o Results
o Conclusion

 While preparing PPT, prefer not writing anything at the LEFT


BOTTOM/ any site where your own video is visible.

How To Record Your PPT


 You can use a software to record your presentation.
 We can suggest a few like:
Apowersoft Unlimited/OBS Studio/Screencast-O-Matic/Ace Thinker/
Microsoft PPT 2019/Via Zoom Meeting App
 Video format – .MP4/.MOV
 Recorded Video MUST be e-mailed to natcon68@kgmcindia.edu
 MENTION SUBJECT OF YOUR SUBMISSION as Your NAME and
“OPCATEXXXXXXX“

 Please be present 15 min before the beginning of the session.


 Prepare backup for electricity and ensure uninterrupted internet
access.
 A small social networking group of the each “session participants”
and “organizing team members” will be created on WhatsApp for
communication.

ONE BEST PRESENTATION FROM EACH SESSION WILL BE AWARDED.

Oral presentations will be judged for:


1. Originality and Creativity [10 points]
 Theoretical or clinical significance of research
 Creativity and originality of work
 Timeliness and uniqueness of ideas

2. Organization of content (logical presentation of ideas) [10 points]


 Objectives/goals are clearly stated.
 Methods are appropriate for achieving goals.
 Results are clearly presented.
 Thoughts and ideas flow in a logical manner.
 Results accomplish the purposes of the project.

3. Presentation (oral presentation and delivery) [ 5 points]


 Quality of diction and articulation.

4. Quality of PPT [5 points]


 Visual materials are easy to read.
 Clarity of diagrams/images/charts/slides/graphs

5. Knowledge of Material (familiarity with subject matter) [10 points]


 Exhibits knowledge of subject matter.
 Answers questions with confidence.
6. Overall Presentation [10 points]
 On the day of presentation, a live Q & A slot is kept after each
presentation.
 The decision of the organizers will be final.
