Subject: What does my country do to help protect the planet

Hi Bella,

I have just received your previous email. I’m certainly glad to

share with you some information that you required on.

In my country, we protect the planet by reducing plastic

consumption. On every Sunday, the supermarkets will not provide
any plastic bag to the customers to teach them on using reusable bag
whenever they go shopping. Besides that, our government provides
recycling bins especially in the neighborhood so that we’ll manage
to throw any kind of waste in the right place. Lastly, the authorities
will make sure that industrial water waste will be treated first before
releasing it in order to prevent contaminated water.

 Tips To Overcome Overspending
It’s so easy to overspend these days. Most of us are prone to spend
most of our money on gratuitous purchases that leaves us broke at the
end. Here are some tips on how to refrain from the habit of
overspending.

Firstly, we need to differentiate between needs and wants. You will

likely recognize that much of your spending is for things that you want
but not that you truly need. For instance , you are willing to buy a new
smartphone but you still have your old smartphone that is still in a great
condition.

Afterwards , train yourself to think long-term before purchasing

anything. Will you be using the item until next month or even next year?
Is the item even necessary ? You also need to think about your
purchasing in the future before buying anything.

Subsequently, one of my best tips for how to reduce spending is to

spend less money eating out. According to statistics from the
Department of Statistics Malaysia, Malaysians spend an average of RM
4,534 per month in 2019. Even though you’ll have to replace some of
that cost of buying groceries to eat at home, the savings can be
incredibly beneficial. We can also use meal planning to prepare
inexpensive meals.

Another tip to overcome spending is to spend less on clothing. It’s

likely that you already have enough clothes in your closet to last you
for at least six months or a year. In addition, even if you simply reduce
your spending by buying essential clothing items on sale, from second-
hand clothing stores such as thrift stores, or from other budget-friendly
clothing stores or online sites like shopee and lazada , you can save a
significant amount of money.
 In a nutshell, it can be very difficult to reverse a bad habit or make
a lasting change when it comes to money management. But, if you
commit to making a change, it can be very benificial yet advantageous.
