ACTIVITY 2
In Physical Education, program development is the process of creating,
developing, and extending instructional, management, or service-oriented
work programs. Program development is designed to assist you in gaining a
thorough understanding of your target audience, as well as economic,
social, and environmental trends, network variables, risks, threats, and
opportunities that may impact your program.

As a "super" project manager, the program manager can be considered.

Since this person is in charge of planning and governance, as well as
overseeing the effective delivery of the program's output/product, his or
her position is mostly operational. That is, the new feature.

Although program expertise is crucial, his or her program management

abilities are emphasized more. The program manager must have prior
experience managing big and complicated projects as a project manager.

Management is responsible for ensuring that high-quality physical

education, recreation, and sport programs are established, systematically
examined, evaluated, and updated or modified as needed to better suit the
goals of both the participants and the organization. This responsibility
includes deciding what goals and objectives should be created and
supported; enlisting the assistance of key individuals and groups in the
development of the program and its standard; considering the factors and
groups that influence and are influenced by the program; following the
proper procedures, policies, and steps, and selecting the best approach in
program development; and being aware of current trends and issues in the
field for which t is responsible. In other words, management is accountable
for providing effective vision and leadership, as well as the structural and
support resources and motivation needed to complete the program
development process entirely, effectively, and efficiently.v
