I have defined multiple target audiences depending on the social media site Dollywood uses.
Instagram and Twitter are targeted toward the younger demographic aged between 20-45,
while Facebook is between the ages of 30-60. Instagram and Twitter have captions that are
short and sweet with little information attached to them. Facebook is the platform that goes
into more detail about the events they offer. After evaluating their socials, I have determined
that Twitter is used most so, I have deiced to post on Twitter five of the seven days and
implement some interactive content by posting a poll. Next, I used Instagram to promote their
newest event, Harvest Festival, showcasing their food and where to purchase tickets. I
published Instagram content five days throughout the week. Along with Instagram, Facebook is
a major social media site they use. Through Facebook, I targeted Gen X. This allowed me to post
content that provided information about their resorts and cabins. I posted four Facebook posts
that correlated with the sprout social website and Hubspot as to when the engagement was at
its peak. I did this for all the social media platforms that Dollywood uses. Lastly, I incorporated
a YouTube video and a blog post. I gave ideas that I thought would be useful to all generations.
