SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF ICAG FINAL PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS
Congratulations!!!
We have the pleasure to write to inform you that you have successfully completed the Institute’s FINAL
PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS.
You may proceed from your ICAG GRADUATE status to full MEMBERSHIP of the Institute as and when
you have obtained a minimum total of three (3) years or thirty-six (36) months appropriate practical working
experience in accounting and related fields such as auditing and taxation. A formal application on a prescribed
form is required for this purpose which could be obtained from the secretariat or from the Institute website. The
three years could be either pre or post qualification experience or a combination of the two.
In the meantime, we need to emphasize that until you have applied and have been formally admitted as a
MEMBER, you are NOT entitled to refer to yourself as a Chartered Accountant nor use any abbreviated form
(CA) after your name.
Partly for our records and partly for a graduation brochure to be produced in due course, we shall be pleased if
you could send us a professional colour passport-size photograph (with red background wearing a jacket and
tie for men and only jacket for the women) with your name clearly written behind it.
An appropriate certificate will, in due course, be issued and the plan is to formally present it to you along with
other candidates, at a special “Graduation Ceremony” which would be held on a date and venue
communicated to you below. Please note that your certificate will bear the name as appeared in the Pass list
and you should contact us via email immediately, if you have any reservations regarding the spelling and
arrangement of your name.
All Graduands who do not have the required work experience (3 years post or pre-qualification) to apply for
membership are to pay an annual subscription of GH¢500 and this fee is subject to review every year. Please
note that your Annual Subscription to the Institute is due 1st January every year.

Kindly take note of the information below;
❖ Deadline for Submission of Membership application forms and Reference letters 14th January
(for only Graduands who have worked for 36 months (3 years) and more in Accounting,
Auditing, and any field related to CA)
❖ Submission of Passport picture and Graduation form (For those who will not apply for
membership) 31st January
❖ Induction Date (For those who will be invited) Will be communicated in due course
❖ Graduation (For all) Will be communicated in due course
❖ Venue for Graduation Will be communicated in due course
N/B: The dress code for the passport picture:
✓ Men (a suit, decent shirt and a tie) and ladies (jacket and a decent inner or shirt)
✓ Please attached is a copy of the membership form and graduation form for your completion.
All Graduands taking membership should not complete the graduation form.
Graduands who do not have the required work experience to apply for membership can download
Graduation form, complete and submit to the Secretariat latest by 31st January (payment could be
done at the bank and pay-in-slip added to the completed form even before the deadline of 31st
January)
Fees to be paid;
Membership (Graduation inclusive) GHS 3,175 (you will be informed to make payment when your
application is approved)
Graduation only GHS 1,375 (Due to be paid by 31st January)
