 A bout RKGITM
Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology & Management (RKGITM)
is one of the pioneer Institute providing quality technical
education in NCR. It was established in 2008 as Women Institute
(RKGITW), which was converted to co-ed in 2016 as RKGITM. The
Institute is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University
Lucknow (AKTU) and is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD,
Government of India.
RKGITM is well known for providing congenial and homely
environment for the Students. RKGITM is endowed with all
convenient amenities and good infrastructure, for comfortable stay
of the students during institute hours, and their motivation for
studies. Our goal is to provide holistic knowledge to all the
budding engineers striving for excellence in all quests like
academia, personality development, leadership and entrepreneurial
skills.
A bout Department
The engineering subjects have evolved from the roots of Applied
Sciences. The source of knowledge, inspiration and innovation
springs from it, thus the significance of this department cannot be
undermined and enhancement of the Engineering Tree can only be
experienced by incorporating the root of Applied Sciences. The
department aims that the student should imbibe scientific
knowledge with the blend of mind and aptitude. The objective is to
provide strong science foundation so as to understand the basic
concepts related to technical education. Adequate attention is given
to students through personal counseling.
A bout FDP
Energy is a basic need and it is a driving force behind all the
activities. As we know growing population is a root cause of
environmental degradation & changes. Our demand of energy is
increasing day by day and to meet this demand we are focusing
on non-renewable energy resources, but these resources are
available in limited amount so we have to work on sustainable
technologies for energy production. The objective of this FDP is
to identify and work on new emerging sustainable technologies
related with energy & environment and acquaint the
participants with recent advancement and techniques in the
field of pollution control and sustainable development. This
programme will bring a positive transformation among the
faculty members towards research work and enable the
participants to develop competence in understanding recent
advances in renewable energy systems.
