 Subject of the artwork: What is it all about?

It's all about the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. It's a picture of Jesus' heart being
exposed, surrounded by thorns, with flames and a cross rising from the top.

 Content of the artwork: What do you think the artist wanted to communicate? -
Is it factual, conventional, or subjective?

It expresses Christ's long-suffering love and compassion for humanity through the
use of a symbol such as His heart. The wounds and crown of thorns relate to Christ's
death on the cross, while the flames try to portray a burning passion of love for all
human beings. The crown symbolizes His triumph and reign. This means that it is factual
for the artist creates harmony in all of the elements to fully express the message to its
audience.

 If you could change one thing about this picture, what would it be? Why?

In my perspective, the only feature of the artwork that I would change is the

appearance of Jesus Christ. There are various interpretations of how He appears in this

artwork, as we can observe in all places. I believe there might be some misunderstanding
as a possible consequence of His features' inconsistency.

 What would the title be if you had created this?

I think I would entitle this artwork “Amaranthine” meaning unending which is what the
artwork wants to convey.

 What prompted you to select this image over other artworks?

This piece of art has a special place in my heart since it brightens my day every
time I see it. It reminds me of how great God is and how much He loves us. Even
though I have seemed to have difficult times in my life, this artwork shows me that
there is good in everything, since I believe that all will be fine if God's plans were to
be followed because everything happens for a reason.
