• What jobs or activities at your site could benefit from improved ergonomics?
-STUDYING- My study area could benefit from improved ergonomics. Ergonomics improved
productivity so it will help me to do more activities or task that our prof gave to us. The best way
to make changes is usually to adjust equipment so that your neck is in its neutral posture.
-COOKING- Improved ergonomics help to facilitate the task. Appliances at proper reaching
height and adjacent storage can save a lot of time and back pain in the kitchen.
-DOING LAUNDRY- To make the work easier and faster and also to maintain the body posture.
• Any particular products or parts that are harder to work on than others?
Yes , if you work on your own, there's only a limited amount that you can do.
• Are there any jobs that have caused overexertion injuries or other wear and tear on people?
-Sitting with poor posture
-Standing in awkward position
-Repetitive movements like typing or writing and using a computer mouse.
-Prolonged activity like doing an activity or exercise too many days in a row or without sufficient
breaks
Yes , working in awkward postures or being in the same posture for long periods of time. Using
positions that place stress on the body, such as prolonged or repetitive reaching above shoulder
height, kneeling, squatting, leaning over a counter or leaning at the monitor for a long period of
time.
• Do you have any ideas for improvement (even ideas you’ve suggested in the past)?
Adjustable chair and desk for my study area. To encourage good posture and the neutral body
position, enterprises should purchase high-quality adjustable chairs, furniture, and equipment.
The more positions a chair and desk can adjust to, the more they can be tailored to the
individual using them.
