What are the four features of a data warehouse?

provide brief descriptions

 • Subject-oriented — A data warehouse is usually subject-oriented because it gives
information about a theme rather than the actual operations of the company. It is possible to
achieve on a specific theme. That is, the data warehousing technique is being recommended
to deal with a more defined theme. These themes can include sales, distribution, marketing,
and so on.

• Integrated – It is similar to subject orientation in that it is created in a dependable format.

Integration entails creating a single object to scale all related data from many databases. The
data must also be stored in numerous data warehouses in a shared and generally granted
manner.

• Time-Variant — This data is kept at different time periods such as weekly, monthly, or annually. It
discovers multiple time limits that are structured between massive datasets and are stored in an
online transaction procedure (OLTP). The timing constraints for data warehouses are more flexible
than those for operating systems. The data stored in a data warehouse is predictable over time and
provides information from a historical perspective. It contains components of time, either explicitly or
indirectly. Another property of time-variance is that data cannot be edited, altered, or updated once it
has been placed in the data warehouse.

• Non-volatile — As the name implies, the data stored in a data warehouse is permanent. It
also means that when new data is put, it is not erased or removed. It includes a massive
amount of data that is incorporated into a change between the selected quantity on logical
business. It assesses the analysis within warehouse technology.
