RESOLUTION NO. 02, SERIES OF 2020

A BARANGAY RESOLUTION DELEGATING EACH SANGGUNIANG

BARANGAY 905 MEMBERS A SPECIFIC STREET/ROAD ASSIGNMENT TO
STRICTLY IMPLEMENT ROAD CLEARING 2.0 AND CLEANLINESS.

WHEREAS, in response with His Honorable President RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE’s directive
during his 2019 State of the Nations Address, all local officials are enjoined to
exercise their powers essential to reclaim public roads and in the process, rid
them of illegal structures and constructions,

WHEREAS, pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular, (MC), No. 2019 - 121 dated 29 th of July,
2019, DILG MC No. 2019 – 167 dated 4th of October, 2019 and Advisory dated 8 th
of January, 2020 that all local government units are mandated to clear roads
of illegal structures and constructions/obstructions and to reclaim all public
roads that are being use for private ends,

WHEREAS, pursuant to DILG MC 2020 – 027 dated 12 th of February, 2020 for continued
implementation of the Presidential directive to clear road of illegal
obstructions (Road Clearing 2.0),

WHEREAS, as per agreed by the Sangguniang Barangay, (SB) 905 during a Regular Meeting
dated 9th of August, 2019, reviewed and updated by the SB 905 on a Regular
Meeting dated 19th of October, 2019 that each member of the Sangguniang
Barangay will have specific street/road assignment responsible to ensure the
strict implementation of clearing obstructions in Barangay 905 jurisdiction,
Street assignment per Council members are as follows:

WHEREAS, delegation of street/road assignment to Sangguniang Barangay 905 members,

aside from clearing obstruction will also ensure cleanliness in their respective
area of responsibility,

WHEREAS, appropriate administrative case shall be filed in case of non-compliance, pursuant

to Section 60 (c) of the Local Government Code of 1991 and other existing laws
and policies.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved the Barangay Resolution

delegating each Sangguniang Barangay 905 members a specific street/road assignment to
strictly implement road clearing 2.0 and cleanliness.

Enacted this 9TH day of March, 2020, City of Manila and shall take effect immediately
upon the approval of the majority votes of the Barangay Council.
