To lay down a procedure for cleaning and operating of the strip cutter machine.

SCOPE:
This SOP is applicable to any person operating the strip cutter machine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The strip cutting machine operator follows the procedure for cleaning and operating the strip cutting
machine.

Production Supervisor and Production Manager are liable in ensuring that the procedure has been
keenly followed and full filled.

QC checks that the strips produced from the machine are compatible with the quality requirements
before approval of production.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
Department Head & QA Head shall be accountable for implementation of this SOP.

PROCEDURE
 Ensure that the instrument is clean and free from dust by spraying the blades with 70% ethanol/
IPA.
 Before staring, check whether all parts are intact and then connect the power supply to the side
of the case and open the switch.
 After booting, the screen jumps from the main menu to the running screen.
 Press the [Program] button to enter the program setting screen, adjust the speed, the number of
the entire sheet, head cutting, the light sensor is canceled off/on, and the lift rate and overload
rate are not allowed to be modified.
 Press the [Run] key to enter the operation screen, and then prepare the material, adjust the
material holder, insert an uncut sheet into the feeding roller along the edge of the two material
holder.
 Feed the material directly to the upper and lower rollers. Hold the manual lifter with one hand
and the light probe. Click [Run] or click the green button above the device to start cutting. Press
the [Stop], [Pause] key or press the green button above the device to stop cutting.

 Manual feeding: hold the roller lifter with one hand, and send the sheet with another hand to the
position where the head blade can cut, and press the green button to start cutting immeadiately.
 When an emergency occurs during work, immeadiately press the “emergency stop switch”;
whenthe problem is resolved, release the “emergency stop switch.”
 When finished the work, close the power switch.
