ANNEXURE I TO WO REF: SLIT/GE/7002/ BOILER/WO- 001/0607 DTD: 27 - 02 - 07

During the discussion the following points were discussed and agreed by Mr K.K.Nair.:-

With reference to the offer ref dated 12/01/07 received from you and further discussions held with
you at our office on 27/02/07 we are releasing the work order for Erection and commissioning of
Boiler, ESP with other auxiliaries such as fans, pumps, piping, Valves (both IBR & Non IBR).
Including erection of bunkers and supporting structure.

The following points are discussed and agreed by us:

1. The scope covers erection of Boiler structure, pressure parts, ESP with TR sets, Bunkers
and supporting structure, fans & pumps with motors, Dosing systems, all the ductings,
Deaerator, main steam piping, feed water piping, other integral and non-integral piping,
instrument impulse piping up to the root valve, PRDS station with spray water piping at
Deaerator/turbine floor, final painting, Apart from the above all other work shall be same
as mentioned in our enquiry document dated 22/08/06. (Tentative scope of erection work
remains unaltered except Point No: 2)
2. Free extra man hours agreed between SLIT/Guru Erector for extra work is 1000 man
hours. Additional man hours beyond 1000 shall be compensated @ Rs 30/- per man hour
including consumables.
3. Free commissioning assistance man hour agreed between Guru Erector & SLIT is 1000
man hours. Additional man hour beyond 1000 shall be compensated @ Rs 20/- per man
hour including consumables.
4. Variation agreed in total weight & welding joints (total pressure parts and piping) between
Guru Erector & SLIT is +/- 5 %. Additional rate for weight agreed is RS 5000/- per MT.

5. The rate agreed between Guru Erector & SLIT is as follows:-

• BOILER TOTAL WEIGHT 805 MT 805   4100000

INCLUDING BUNKER, BOILER BLOCK,
ESP,DEAERATOR,FANS, PUMPS,PIPINGS
ETC. ( Including Accommodation
Arrangement charges for Labours)

Total:   4100000

(Rupees Forty One Lakhs only)

The following conditions were discussed and agreed by Mr K.K.Nair.M/s Guru Erectors:-

1) M/s Guru Erectors shall organize a Hydra crane for 6 months duration.

2) Accommodation for the labour will be arranged by M/s Guru Erectors.

3) All the IBR related formalities shall be handled by Guru Erectors however necessary
statuatory fees will be paid by customer on production of receipt.
 4) Welding electrodes of approved brand such as ESAB, Advani, D&H will be used
depending upon the material / QAP provided by SLIT. Plate more than 20 thick will be
welded by AWS 7018 electrodes and for other general structure shall be welded with
AWS 6013.

5) As on now the electricity is of free of cost for fabrication and erection. If customer debits
us the charges for electricity for fabrication, the same shall be debited / compensated to
Guru Erectors.

6) Necessary IBR quality welders with valid certificates shall be organized by Guru Erectors
for all IBR / High pressure welding.

7) Necessary radiography / SR as per IBR shall be done by Guru erectors. Incase of failure
of radiography penalty shots will be taken additionally as required by IBR.

8) The boiler erection and completion schedule discussed in detail (Boiler commissioning on
15/10/2007) and agreed upon by both SLIT and Guru Erectors .

9) Guru Erectors has to mobilize the people (a fitter with 2 helpers & hand tools) for
alignment of Boiler column embedment plate from 1/4/07 and full-fledged gang with all
tools and tackles will be made available at site by 15/4/07.

All other terms and conditions mentioned in our enquiry dated 30/12/06 shall remain the same.
