We have conducted a survey on the most popular films of the 21st century so far. The Internet ques-
tionnaire was completed by 13 people and we have found that by far the most popular movie genre was ac-
tion. There were two popular themes: good versus evil and boy meets girl. We also discovered the most
watched film, ‘Mean girls’. Something the most popular movies had in common was that they consisted of
two words. As regards location, people liked usual settings such as the New York city. The most popular set-
ting in term of time was the present. And lastly, the most adored actresses were Jennifer Aniston, Lindsay
Lohan and Emma Watson. In terms of actors, people chose Leonardo Dicaprio and Jason Statham.
