personal inconvenience that I experienced as an academic scholar is going to school
while I'm on my monthly menstruation. I'm one of those women who experience mild to extreme

period pain every month. It never failed to suck all the energy and motivation I have preserved

to finish my academic duties and responsibilities for the whole week. It is especially burdening

whenever I need to focus on the lessons but I cannot because It feels like a thousand needles

are being poked onto my back and abdomen.

Every ache, however, has a remedy, and thankfully, we have our school nurse to

assist us by administering pain medication. This is highly effective in making sure we get

through an academic day with ease and comfort. It can be difficult to deal with painful periods

every month. The school can assist us by ensuring that they have the proper tools and medica-

tions to promptly treat pain concerns. Women like us may also require emotional support at

difficult times and fortunately our Mommy Nurse is there to make sure we can handle the

workload by giving us the option to go home instead or continue on attending our classes.

I'd like to commend our school for being well-prepared for circumstances like these. It

would be more convenient for schoolgirls like me since we would not miss class, would avoid
