 General rule:
When we use a singular pronoun, we have to use the next rules:

1. Verbos que terminan en –y, en la tercera persona del singular, se cambia la -y por -ies:
fly --> flies, cry --> cries

2. Verbos que terminan -ss, -ch, -sh, -x se añade –ES al verbo:

He passes, she catches, he fixes, it pushes

Excepción:
Cuando una vocal precede a la -y:
play --> plays, pray --> prays
