How to play the cup game

The cup game consists of different coloured cups and some laminated
sentences. These can be sentences in different tenses or just single
words like a plural form or a past simple form. Each sentence belongs to
one of the cups.

The cup game can be played alone. A player throws the sentences into
the matching cup. Then he/she can check how many are right by using
the answers below.

You can also have a competition in an English lesson. Students or

groups of students are given their own cups and sentences. Then they
have to throw the sentences into the matching cups. The winner is not
the fastest player/the fastest group but whoever has the most correct
answers.

You can also invent your own version of the cup game and play with new
rules.
